Blue Metal M sand Manufacturer and Supplier in Chennai

We are Blue Metal M sand Manufacturer and Supplier in Chennai.
Sand is one of the important ingredients in making concrete mortar & plaster, etc. Earth scientists and organizations are now promoting the use of M-Sand (Manufactured Sand). It is produced by crushing quarries and rocks stones to desired sizes. To derive the required sizes, these hard rock deposits are crushed, and this material is segregated in different fractions to suit different construction sites. The chemical characteristics and strength of M-Sand (Manufactured Sand) are similar to river sand.

M-Sand(Manufactured Sand) has a silt content of around 0.2 percent and water absorption of 1.6 percent, as compared to 0.45 percent and 1.15 percent respectively in river sand This sand is alternative to river sand/natural sand. M-sand (Manufactured Sand) is cheaper sand as per river sand.
M-Sand is manufactured in a three-stage process: Crushing, Quarry and Rocks stones are crushed at jaw crushers, cone crushers, and vertical shaft impact crushers, respectively leading into the formation of angular and cubical fine aggregate particles.
Screening: Screening ensures this material is properly graded that’s similar to river sand. Washing: Washing removes all the micro-fine particles. Also, fine aggregates for concrete and plaster sand are also formed.
Advantages of M-sand: The major advantage of manufactured sand is that it is highly cohesive and compressive in strength. It has lesser impurities, which help in producing better quality concrete. Moreover, the controlled gradation of Zone-II is possible, suitable for concrete.
In some case studies, it was found that concrete produced by using manufactured sand obtained 6-9 %(percent) higher compressive strength and 12-15 %(percent) higher flexural strength compared to river sand of the same grade. A nearly 30% (percent) increase in masonry strength is obtained with the use of manufactured sand. It requires a lower water-cement ratio if the mortar is mixed with manufactured sand, which also results in better characteristics in the hardened state. Manufacturing sand also eliminates the environmental impact that occurred due to the lifting of natural sand from the river bed. Comparison of M-Sand and River Sand

Bluemetal (Jalli)

Blue Metal is a quarried, crushed aggregate rock that can range in colour from blue to black. It comes in required sizes:6 mm, 12mm or 20 mm, 25mm,40mm and is primarily used in making concrete. Because it is a clean, crushed rock, it is also ideal for drainage, particularly around agricultural pipes. Coarse aggregates are a construction component made of rock quarried from ground deposits. Examples of these kinds of ground deposits include river gravel, crushed stone from rock quarries, and previously used concrete. Coarse aggregates are generally categorized as rock larger than a standard
Generally coarse aggregate is blended with finer aggregates (such as sand) to fill in the spaces left between the large pieces and to “lock” the larger pieces together. This reduces the amount of cement paste required and decreases the amount of shrinkage that could occur. Although some variation in aggregate properties is expected, characteristics that are considered include grading, durability, particle shape and surface texture, abrasion and skid resistance, unit weights and voids, absorption and surface moisture.
Which type of aggregates gives good workability Explanation: The aggregates which gives more ease of working and workability is round aggregate, flaky and angular also used in some cases, irregular also are used in pavements.
Crushed concrete is a standard sub-base material and used for roads such as pot-hole filling-in but like it can be used for other things like driveways, backfill material, patios, tracks and other paths. It is crushed stone which is less than 40mm in size down to dust with no specified grading.
Most natural sands and gravel from river beds or seashores are smooth and rounded and are excellent aggregates. Crushed stone produces much more angular and elongated aggregates, which have a higher surface-to-volume ratio, better bond characteristics but require more cement paste to produce a workable mixture.
Crushed stone is a combination of assorted sized material which has been crushed and compacted in size, then processed through a square screen to get required in size
Depending on the quarry site from which our crushed stone suppliers have propagated the stone, the product may contain limestone, granite, gneiss, and even trap rock. The process is complete once the stone has been crushed and screened to size.

Uses for Crushed Stone

Crushed stone that supplies has multiple uses. Mostly, it is used as a construction aggregate in asphalt and concrete for road and highway work with or without a binder. Major uses of the cumulative crushed stone without a binder include railroad ballast and road base. Cement and asphalt used in highway construction and general repair in residential and non-residential road development are composites used with a binder.

Domestic Use

However, crushed stone can also be used for constructional, domestic, and horticultural purposes. Filter stone, Portland cement, riprap, and agricultural limestone can be made to produce septic systems, road base, stormwater management systems, driveway gravel, on construction sites as entrances and exits, and dry wells.
